Blackwell’s, Inc. was founded in 1982 as a chimney sweeping business. Over the last 40 years, Blackwell’s, Inc. has grown to become an all-around industrial cleaning solution that offers services ranging from industrial cleaning, floor polishing and coating, industrial vacuum truck service, c02 and media blasting.

Challenge:

Blackwell’s, Inc. needed to create a website that allowed each of their services and the details of those services to really shine. With so much great content, Stand and Stretch needed to create a UX experience that allowed users to easily find the information in a structure that made sense.

Solution:

By utilizing nested tabs, custom coding, and a whole lot of elbow grease, Stand and Stretch was able to create a dynamic environment within WordPress to organize this extensive content. Now, utilizing the Elementor front-end environment, Blackwell’s, Inc. is able to make changes to the content of these service pages while keeping the content in a mobile-friendly, easily navigable environment.

Challenge:

Part the strength of Blackwell’s, Inc.’s former website was their extensive blog. We needed to migrate the old blogs and maintain their integrity while we integrated them into the new site in a visually appealing, easily navigable manner. We also wanted to preserve the great SEO results the older blog posts provided while setting up our clients for success with future posts utilizing the latest tools for styling.

Solution:

Stand and Stretch uses the latest tools to migrate blogs from your old site to our optimized, automatically updated WordPress environment. We do extensive testing to make sure blogs are migrated exactly as they were created from their former site. Then we integrate blogs into the sitemap in a way that is visually appealing, well-organized, and set up for success in the SEO world.

Challenge:

Blackwell’s, Inc. wanted to highlight both their impressive service area and the various individual cities within that territory that they’ve serviced. Moreover, they wanted the map to be editable, matching brand colors, and easy to update as they continued to expand.

Solution:

The web team at Stand and Stretch worked closely to not only create the custom map using free resources available through Google’s MyMaps service, but helped train the Blackwell’s, Inc. team in detail on how to maintain the map themselves. There are quite a few pins that have been added to the map since the site’s launch in spring of 2021!
