Meet The Team
“I am a small-town Georgia-born Social Entrepreneur specializing in technology and community organization. I enjoy riding my mountain bike, flying air planes, coding/programming, and spending time with my 3 boys.”
I’ve been involved with technology since I was a kid and video games have trained me to coordinate my mind with puzzle solving. So after spending 9 years in the retail apparel industry working my way up from web design to systems engineer, I began trying to solve the puzzle of how to rewire the local and small business economy with the ‘things’ that were going to improve their longevity.
In 2010, the day before I turned 30, I started @StandAndStretch as a way to reach out to local businesses to help them achieve goals through marketing, sales and eventually mentorship. It was just a blog then and, in the set of waves that social media brought, we were able to educate our clients and empower them to move into the digital spaces through partnership. As we got better, so did our list of clients.
It’s 2022 and the world has caught up to our virtual approach to business and we are better for it.

Digital Director
Marci oversees all digital services for Stand And Stretch. From Google Ads, to Retargeting, to SEO, Marci follows up with all team members to ensure all is running smoothly. When not working and completing her master’s degree, Marci can be found prettying up her Insta account with hike-able nature shots.
Marek Zarnow
Web Director
Marek oversees a growing list of web mangement clients, new website production projects, helps maintain the Stand and Stretch hosting services, writes copy, and does graphic design. When he’s not behind the keyboard, you’ll find him in the kitchen, exploring the pacific northwest, writing, moonlighting as a bartender, and making music.
Whitney Shaffer
Business Manager
Whitney manages the financials and much of the logistics at Stand And Stretch. From overseeing vendor relations to business-facing client communications she’s a go to for troubleshooting — but that doesn’t mean she’s not up for a technical puzzle from time to time as well. She is also a mom, a writer, and an enthusiastic gardener.
Neva Piombino
Web Manager
Neva manages the day to day of the web department, is the lead web production specialist, and develops content for new web projects. She also assists in a variety of our digital marketing and SEO services. When she’s not designing websites, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading classic novels, and baking.
Marci Heffner
Digital Director
Marci oversees all digital services for Stand And Stretch. From Google Ads, to Retargeting, to SEO, Marci follows up with all team members to ensure all is running smoothly. From checking that deadlines are met, to teaching advanced skills to new team members, Marci keeps us growing toward new heights. She conducts regular meetings that discus focus efforts, and serves as our go-to team player, filling in wherever the team needs her. When not completing online classes, Marci can be found prettying up her Insta account with hike-able nature shots.
Marek Zarnow
Web Director
Marek oversees all things web at Stand and Stretch. He oversees our growing list of web management clients, helps guide new web production projects to success, and translates the jargon of web design to our clients. Marek jumps across department lines to help support SEO clients, create blogs, assist in copywriting, help clients with graphic design, and more. When Marek isn't behind the keyboard, you’ll find him in the kitchen, exploring the pacific northwest, moonlighting as a bartender, and making music.
