After five years at Stand And Stretch, Lucas is leading our creative team to integrate advertising-based platforms and help drive our clients’ business goals into the future.
From Non-Profit Organizations to national brands, Lucas continues to use research and data to motivate our designs and help translate our clients’ visions into usable interfaces and marketing tactics that perform well in advertising.
He is a computer scientist and self-proclaimed hacker who likes to argue and talk about civic innovation.

With over 100 speaking engagements in the past six years, Lucas has spread his innovative passion of embedding technology further into the community by involving Stand And Stretch with many diverse, economic efforts; both on a State and National level.
At TEDxAugusta, he was able to share his work with Hack Columbus, a non-profit he co-founded to ensure the Columbus Georgia community could activate and retain a creative class. After being born and raised in Columbus, his dedication to empowering businesses and non-profits has provided many opportunities for growth.
The TEDx Talk on the right is called “Hacking The Middle Class.” Lucas sheds light on a real problem around future city infrastructures and the importance of providing ‘creative technologists’ a place to live, play and work.
Hacktivist
In the summer of 2014, Lucas helped bring together a group of ‘hackers’ and put their powers over innovative technologies to use for good.
Lucas is a well-known ‘hacktivist’ and a co-founder of Hack Columbus. Each month they put on “hackathons” in which they explore creative ways to look at the problems in our community and solve them with code. The Hack Columbus membership is well-known from their Hack The Library event, when we took over the Columbus Public Library for 48 hours and challenged our technologists to work towards embedding technology into the user experience.
Hacktivism is a relatively new term but focuses on the altruistic nature of open-source cultures and philanthropy.
